At Brinker, we are very fortunate to have the tremendous support of volunteers and an extremely dedicated faculty. There are many deserving individuals serving and helping our students. One of the ways we recognize individuals for their dedication to children and the community is through the Texas PTA Lifetime Membership. It is one of the highest honors presented to individuals for outstanding service to children and youth.

If you would like to nominate someone to receive this honor, click HERE to fill out the Texas PTA Lifetime Nomination Form and return it to the school office in a sealed envelope to the attention of Alice Chao by November 17. Forms may also be emailed to membership@brinkerpta.org.

Thank you for taking the time to recognize a deserving individual's efforts!

Texas Recycle Day is November 18!  Let's Reuse, Reduce and Recycle any gently used clothing, toys and more to our blue World Wide Wear Bin located in the back of our Brinker parking lot behind the building

Every pound collected earns our PTA $0.15 that goes towards funding PTA programs for our children.  If we collect 2,500 lbs or more during the month of November, World Wear Project will give us an additional $100.  Please clean out your closets to support those in need this season and Brinker PTA!

Collection Dates: November 27th – December 1st

We will be collecting canned goods for the holiday season to donate to those in need.

This year we have set a goal for each grade level. Each grade that meets their goal will be awarded special prizes for each student in that grade. Exciting details to follow on the prizes.

Four Volunteers will be needed daily on collection dates to count and box donation items from 7:15 am – 8:00 am.  Also, we will need volunteers to transport the boxed canned good to the drop off site on Friday December 1st.  To volunteer, please click HERE (log in required).

Please contact Kim Sams or Jessica Bailey with any other questions at communityoutreach@brinkerpta.org. Thank you for your support!

Come join us at On the Border (at Parker and the Tollway) on November 30th. Grab lunch, a snack or dinner and give back to Brinker. Please let them know you are there for Brinker Dining out Spirit Night and they will donate 20% of the proceeds of food and drinks back to Brinker!

On Thursday, November 30, be on the lookout for all of our colonial era time travelers, dressed in colonial dresses and old fashioned hats and suits. All 5th grade students will enjoy a trip through time to Colonial America where they will learn to knit, cook Johnny cakes, make their own butter, create tin punch art, experience a one-room schoolhouse and enjoy some old-fashioned non-electronic games.

If you want to share photos that you have taken of students at school events this year for yearbook consideration, please use the ImageShare app.  In order to upload photos to this app, please see directions HERE and guidelines for yearbook photo consideration HERE.  Thank you for your support!

***Please note not all pictures received will be published and only students whose parents filled out the image approval form will be eligible to be included in the yearbook.

If you have questions about the Brinker Yearbook, please contact our PTA Yearbook Chair at yearbook@brinkerpta.org.

Are you looking for ways to give your child a rich and rewarding experience at Brinker? Join the PTA! Each year, the PTA sponsors and organizes numerous activities to provide our students with fun and exciting learning experiences. And while we love parent volunteers, you are not required to volunteer time as a member of the PTA. But your membership dues do help to provide the following PTA sponsored events for our students and Brinker community. Here are just some of the many activities of the Brinker PTA:

  • Author visits by award-winning writers
  • High Tech High Touch and other "in-class" science field trips
  • Heroes in History visits
  • Purchase of School Supply Agendas for all students
  • Cultural Diversity Day
  • SAGE - Experience the Awareness program
  • Field Day
  • End of year Brinker Bash
  • Drum Fit Physical Education Program
  • Tuesday Tunes
  • After-school Chess Enrichment
  • After-school Enrichment Classes
  • Fulfilling teacher wishlists to meet classroom needs
  • Fall Family Picnic
  • Teacher and Staff Appreciation Events throughout the year
  • Kindergarten Reading Buddies
  • VIP Tutoring Program

With so many activities to enrich the educational experience of all of our students, we need the participation of all of our parents. Two Parent Family Memberships are $18.00 and Single Parent Family Memberships are only $11.50.
