Please mark your calendars for Open House on Thursday, March 8 from 6:00 - 7:00 pm.  This is a great event to come see your child's classroom work and enjoy seeing teachers and friends.  The whole family is invited to this "come and go" event

Remind your students to keep reading books from the Texas 2x2 Reading List and Texas Bluebonnet Awards.  These award-winning books can be found at our local public libraries. Click on the links below for each reading list:
In support of these Texas reading programs and the extra efforts of our Brinker students, Brinker PTA recognizes 3rd-5th grade students who read at least 10 books from the Bluebonnet list and Kindergarten–2nd grade students who read at least 15 books from the 2x2 list. The students who read the books and turn in their reading logs by the March 9th deadline will be invited to attend a celebration in the spring.

A reading log was provided to your child by the librarian at the beginning of the year and can also be found at the links above. If interested, have your child read the books on the reading list and keep track on the reading log and turn in their log by March 9th. Happy Reading!

March 23, 2018 from 5:00 - 6:00 pm

The Brinker Color Fun Run is an untimed run where Brinker students are dusted in different colors at stations around the lap course.  The event is all about students running, walking or even skipping while family members and Brinker community cheer them on!

Please note students will not be collecting donations for laps, but there is an option to sponsor your student's run through the Color Run Sponsor Collection field below the Color Run Registration Fee if you choose to do so - this donation will go toward supporting Brinker PTA's Programs enriching and enhancing students' educational experience and their healthy lifestyles.

Click HERE to register to secure your t-shirt as they will only be available until February 26th and click HERE to volunteer.

We hope you and your family can join us for this fun family event!

We are working feverishly over the next few weeks to complete the design of the yearbook.  If you have photos you would like to submit, please email yearbook@brinkerpta.org or download and use the ImageShare app.  Project ID is 811826.  No pin.

And if you have a LOT of photos you would like to share, please contact Nanditha at yearbook@brinkerpta.org and she will be happy to setup a google drive for you to upload your pics.

PLEASE list event and grade.

Thank YOU!
