I had a blast co-chairing the Book Fair this fall. It was so fun to see all our Brinker kids get excited to read books, shop, and eat donuts, and amazing to receive all the support from our families, volunteers, teachers, and staff that made it a success!

My husband Kyle and I are the lucky parents of two Brinker graduates and our last-but-absolutely-NOT-least second grader Billie… which means we’ll be hanging around till 2030. You might spot us going on walks in the neighborhood at random times of day, thanks to our odd jobs in writing and film. We love being part of the Brinker community, and I’m constantly inspired by all the effort, energy, and optimism everyone puts into our school.

Hi! I’m Marissa, and my husband, Kyle, and I are the proud parents of Charlie, a kindergartner at Brinker, and her little sister, Brynlee, who is 3. As a new Brinker family, volunteering has been a wonderful way to get involved and connect with our school community. I’m grateful for the opportunity to support the teachers, staff, and students who make Brinker so special!
